Yattee Farms is a production nursery and a premier wholesale supplier of a comprehensive range of palms, cycads and many other plants.

Our production centers around tropical palms and cycads and other species; examples of some of the more popular species include Golden Canes, Foxtails, Chamaedorea Seifrizii, Ficus Lyrata, Indian Mast Trees, Zanzibar Gems .. to name a few.

Most of the nursery's plants are grown from seed sourced locally in North Queensland, or from further afield as and when required.

Seeds are germinated and propagated in a specialised, temperature and humidity controlled, contained facility when required. Depending on the species, they are then potted on until reaching the optimum size to be sold.

Younger plants are nurtured in five state of the art shade houses. Specially designed, built and constructed to suit the unique environmental conditions of Tropical North Queensland, these large shade houses provide perfect growing conditions for the nursery's diverse array of plants.

When ready, plants are moved into open positions to become sun-hardened prior to sale and transport. Plants flourish in the tropical climate and carefully controlled irrigation and fertigation programs complete their maturing cycle.

No matter how big or small the plants are when you buy them, they are guaranteed to be the healthiest they can be!
